Her days at school often come back to her in those moments of peace in her little kitchen. When Penn is outside pruning reading a book or pottering in the garden. When the the dishes are all being washed with a wave of her wand and the broom is floating around sweeping the crumbles left from their dinner, that is when sitting in her reading nook her mind seems to wonder to her school days where classes always seemed like something fantastical. The hairs on her arms would often stand up the most when her memories led her to practical magic classes where magic literally floated about her. How innocent and playful we were back then she thinks fondly. She could still smell her friend's potion brewing on the table that day. Something green and tangy. It sticks in her head to this day. She shakes herself out of her reverie and slowly untangles her crossed legs and walks barefoot to outside where sure enough Penn is sitting on the ground whispering to the toadstools again.
