Hello lovely souls, how are you all doing? For today, I wanted to talk about perfection and how it can be destructive. Low self-esteem can contribute to constantly seeking perfection which can sadly lead to a sense of failure. Perfection ultimately does not exist. Seeking it can lead to never feeling good enough. It can be a vicious cycle of destruction.One way to combat being obsessed with perfection is setting realistic and achievable goals that allow for self-compassion. It is important to remember that not achieving a goal does not make you a failure. Each day, take a moment to acknowledge what you have achieved, no matter the significance.We often stress the small stuff and forget how much we have already achieved.Take pride with each small step you take. Take a moment to show yourself some empathy and remember that you are worthy of being at peace with who you are. Remember you are beautiful the way you are:)
