I have a thing about benches. Ask anyone that has travelled with me and they will tell you that a lot of the pictures taken are near a bench, on a bench, or me bending to see who the bench is for. I love the idea that a love story began on a bench, a friendship was found, or a loved one was lost. It seems so poetic to me that a bench can hold so many memories and most people just walk by them without glimpsing at their past.
