Can you remember that 2am walk we took, Isolde? That one up the hill to watch the sky. Can you remember hearing the wisps fly around us as we held hands as childhood friends do? I still feel the air on the nape of my neck as we walked outside the garden post and knew we were going to have mother shout at us in the morning when she saw our dirty feet. But we did not care. We ran down into the valley and up the side as fast as our little feet would carry us all to see the night sky dance with the solstice magic. Don't forget that moment Isolde as we grow older I whisper into your ear as we fall asleep. The aroma of magic sticking on our skin as the early sun is slowly warming up our cold feet is the last thing that I remember thinking about as I drew closer to you and smiled that childlike grin of pure joy.
