Christmas is now around the corner. For many of us, we cannot see our families or our friends. It will be very different for us all. I want to encourage you to think about the things that will make it easier for ourselves and for the things in our lives that we are grateful for. Here is are a few little tips for all of us that will help us during the holidays:)
1) Set clear boundaries with family, friends, and yourself.
2) Take time for yourself - selfcare is so important.
3) Plan little distractions that help you stay calm and in the moment.
4) Have an emergency contact to call if you are feeling overwhelmed or isolated
5) Be kind to yourself. This is so vital.
6) Let go of grand expectations. Life causes changes all the time.
7) Accept that this year's festivities will be different and challenging.
8) Remember to breathe and express your gratitude.
